The September issue of Stroll Piper Glen is reaching mailboxes this week, and the whole edition is online and free to read right now if you would rather not wait for it.

The cover line is "Creating Awareness," and the issue means it. Two Making a Difference pages carry the month. The first is the Pink Bow Campaign, the all-volunteer nonprofit a Ballantyne resident, Robin Saddler, founded in 2021 in honor of her mother, a 26-year breast cancer survivor; this fall its pink bows line the streets of more than 80 neighborhoods in and around Charlotte. The second is Light The Night, the lantern walk for Blood Cancer United on Saturday, November 14, where white lanterns are carried by survivors, red by supporters and gold for the people being remembered.

One date is close. Stroll Into Wellness is Thursday, September 3, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Stephenson Room at Ballantyne Country Club, 11120 Ballantyne Crossing. Coffee with a Cop is Friday, September 11, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Ballantyne Summit Coffee.

The PDF carries the whole issue, cover to cover. Only some of it runs here as separate stories. Staying in print this month: a Home Matters piece on the analog room, the one room in the house with no screens and no wifi, and a coloring page for Strolly's first day of school. The month's Partner Spotlight, Modern Legal, Theresa Viera's family law firm, is on the site as a paid placement.

And as always, the issue runs on its partners. The businesses on the Preferred Partners page are the ones that make this magazine possible and put it in your mailbox. Start there when you need them, and thank them when you get the chance.
